If you write a check when the work is complete you may deduct 2 percent from the total cost of the job. Of course this applies to real paper money as well. You cannot take this discount with a credit card. Why? The credit card companies charge us just about 2% of the total to process a transaction.

12 months same as cash
This payment option may be used with any purchase over $1,000 dollars. It requires no down payment; however minimum monthly payments equal to 3 percent of the balance are required. We run this through a finance company. It works like this: We take a credit application from you, or you can do it on line at the comfort zone.com. After approval and completion of the installation, we turn the paperwork over to the finance company. They’ll send you a payment book showing a payment due equal to 3 percent of the total. At the end of 12 months you owe the balance. This is an excellent payment method; however we do recommend a couple of things. Unless you are coming into some money in the next twelve months divide the total bill by 11 and make the larger monthly payments. This way you will not be shocked by the balance owed in 12 months. It also prevents you from being late on the final payment. Be aware that if you are late on your payment 2 times, or you are late with the final payment, this loan rolls into a high interest loan automatically– that’s how they make their money. That being said, this is a financially sound, interest free way to pay for your new system. Also note that there is no penalty for paying early.

60 months to Pay
Recker and Boerger has a program with the finance company that allows us to offer you 60 months to pay at a current interest rate of 12.99%. This program allows you to pay for your new system over 5 years at a relatively low interest rate and requires no down payment. 60 months operates much the same way as the 12 month program – we handle the application and paper work, they send you a payment book, you send your payment to the finance company on time for 60 months and your done. Again, no penalty for paying early. Make sure you make your payments on time and this is a great way to purchase a new high efficiency system and use some of the energy savings to pay for it.

24 months to Pay
This program is offered only when you purchase our best furnace, air conditioner or heat pump, no other system carries this option. This program operates the same way as the 12 months although it requires a 10% down payment and 24 equal monthly payments, not minimum payments. You have 24 months to pay – interest free. If you purchase the BEST system you have the option of not using the 24 month plan and taking the cash rebate – 125 dollars per system. If you take the rebate you may choose any of the other payment options.
